In the previous episodes, we talked about character development. Character development is not something easy. It can be difficult, but it is a necessary part of the transformation process.
We used the example of the eagle. In order for the eagle to regain its strength, recover its abilities, and regain its authority, it had to go through a stage of renewal that was not easy.
Look at Another Example: Job
Job was a man who had many things. He was blessed, he had wealth, he had a family, and he had respect; but he had to go through a difficult stage.
He went through a season of trials where many things disappeared from his life. He suffered, he experienced pain, he asked questions, and he tried to understand what was happening.
But there is something important: he never turned his back on God. He never denied God.
He experienced pain. He had moments when he did not understand, but his faith remained.
The question for us today is: When you are in pain, how do you react?
When you are going through trouble, where do you go? Because our reaction in the middle of a trial shows what has already been formed within us.
Every Stage Has Its Prerequisites
At a university, you cannot enter an advanced level without first learning the basics.
You cannot reach algebra if you have not yet mastered addition, subtraction, multiplication, and the other foundations.
In the same way, in life, there are stages God allows us to go through in order to prepare us for the next level.
Some trials come before us today because there is training we have already received in previous stages. That is what helps us not to fall in the same way as someone who has never learned that lesson.
Faith and the Presence of God
To go through a process, we need two important things:
Faith and the presence of God.
We cannot make such a journey without God. Sometimes, in the middle of pain, a person may feel alone. They may feel that they do not hear anything, they cannot find comfort, and they do not feel any direction. This can happen when the connection becomes weak.
But when the presence of God remains with you in the middle of the storm, even when the situation is difficult, you can continue moving forward.
Look at the disciples.
They went through the storm, but the presence of Jesus was with them. Maybe water was coming into the boat. Maybe their feet were getting wet. But they were not alone.
In the same way, in our lives, we need to know that God is with us.
We need to believe that He can change the situation and that He will not abandon us.
Hold On During the Process
The process can be painful.
It can take time.
Sometimes we would like to see the result immediately, but we have not yet reached that moment. But if you have the presence of God and faith, you can continue walking.
Even when everything seems dark, remember that there is another side of the storm.
You will make it because you are not alone. Do not lose courage in the process.
